U.S. Renal Care Inc., a Plano-based provider of outpatient dialysis services, has inked a $112 million deal to acquire Dialysis Corp. of America, which is based in Maryland.

Under the deal, shareholders of Dialysis Corp. (NASDAQ: DCAI) will be paid $11.25 per share, a 72 percent premium over the company’s Tuesday closing price of $6.52

Privately-held U.S. Renal Care, which announced the deal this week, expects it to boost its number of patients to 5,500 through 84 facilities across nine states. The combined company will also operate 12 home dialysis programs, and 24 dialysis programs within acute and specialty hospital facilities.

Dialysis Corp., which would go private under the deal expected to close in May, posted revenue of $98.9 million in 2009, up 14 percent from a year earlier.
