At one time, hundreds of small practices had separate billing systems. The result was hundreds of small installations, substandard billing performance, and low profitability, all leaving a significant portion of the provider's money with payers.

Mission Statement

Vericle is committed to enabling billing companies to grow consistently and profitably by uniting provider systems nationwide on a single platform and providing a state-of-the-art billing business management systems. By consolidating operations, Vericle tracks payer performance from a single point of control, shares payer compliance rules globally, and continuously levels the playing field with payers.

Straight Through Billing and Billing Transparency are two key aspects of Vericle�s engine, pioneered at Vericle. Straight Through Billing automates the majority of the claim flow and focuses the billing follow-up specialists to exceptions only. The process flags problems, routes them for follow up, and enables online correction and resubmission. Billing Transparency provides 24x7 Internet browser-based observability of the entire process and each individual claim, including payment status, identified errors, and actions performed on the claim.


Management Team

	Yuval Lirov, PhD – Co–Founder and CEO, has over 30 years experience in military, financial services, and medical technology. Yuval co-founded Affinity Billing, Billing Depot, Billing Precision, Billing Dynamix, Billing Intelligence and Paid Claims. He has been awarded five patents in artificial intelligence and computer security and has authored three books: Mission Critical Systems Management (1997), Practicing Profitability - Billing Network Effect for Revenue Cycle Management (2007), and Medical Billing Networks and Processes (2009). Yuval is a graduate of Technion and Washington University in St. Louis.
	Doug Cassel, MD – Co–founder and Chief Compliance Officer, was an interventional Radiologist for 25 years, serving as the Head of Interventional Radiology at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. He has published 12 scientific publications and awarded 2 patents. Doug was Chairman of the Board of Healthcare Management Partners, a revenue cycle management company specializing in Radiology, and presently is a Board Member of Zotec, a national revenue cycle management and software company specializing in Radiology, Anesthesia, and Pathology groups for both hospital and outpatient centers. He is a graduate of Yale, Harvard, and Stanford.
	Erez Lirov – Co–Founder and Chief Technology Officer has been an entrepreneur and software technology inventor since his college days in Princeton University, which he graduated with honors in 1999. His experience spans heading technology innovation for both startups and established companies in healthcare and financial services at Vericle, TradeMD, Sparta Systems, Lehman Brothers, National Bank of Canada, PIMCO, and Harris Bank. Erez co-founded Affinity Billing, Billing Depot, Billing Precision, Billing Dynamix, and Paid Claims. Erez was awarded a patent in data security domain.
	Dave Macolino – Chief Development Officer, has over 23 years experience in Information Technology in both the Financial Services and Medical fields. He has held senior management positions at such firms as Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse where he managed a large global team in New York, Raleigh, London, Zurich and Singapore. His creative and innovative concepts lead to the implementation of several Global Applications used by more than 60,000 users worldwide at these firms. Dave is co–founder of Billing Dynamix, LLC and Gryphon Health Systems.
	Revathi Krishna – Chief Blogger, has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. From programming to project management, IT consulting to entrepreneurship, she has helped clients in the US and India in building and managing IT solutions.
