Position: SPOC - Single Point of Contact for Provider's Billing Service
Reporting: This position reports to SPOC Manager
Objective:
Manage provider office billing processes and offshore billing teams (BPO) to maximize payments, improve compliance, drive percent of A/R beyond 120 days down, reduce daily backlogs of failed claims to zero, and minimize billing and follow-up errors.
Responsibilities
- Train and manage BPOs
- Serve personal professional example for BPOs
- Delegate specific practice billing tasks, including data entry and claim follow up, to BPOs
- Identify opportunities for billing task automation
- Communicate with provider offices, promote teamwork and bi-lateral accountability with providers, troubleshoot problems, and smooth out processes related to billing and office management
- Verify task delivery and follow up with BPOs on delegated action items, including
- Execute Vericle processes to achieve the objectives stated above
- Monitor billing performance metrics and alert management about sensitive or potential problems
- Identify and resolve global issues or coordinate such issue resolution with other Vericle departments

Compensation
The SPOC compensation is proportional to monthly billing performance of the provider office pool under management. SPOC provider pool size depends on meeting performance benchmarks.
